Access to Care Records Seminar in House of Lords

House of Lords
Whilst we have done a lot of work already on changing guidelines in order to benefit access of care leavers to their records, we want to draw more attention to the issues, which have not been resolved. To do this we are inviting various members of government to a seminar, the purpose of this being discuss the outstanding barriers which care leavers experience on a regular basis.

There is an ample amount of research into the subject, which continues, particularly at the University College London – the MIRRA Project. Despite the research, we would like government to devote more attention to a change in law and regulations for the benefit of care leavers. We hope to discuss such issues at the seminar.

The seminar will be held in Committee Room G, hosted by Baroness Lola Young, on 27th November 2018 between 1pm and 4.30pm at the House of Lords, London SW1A 0PW. For information about the venue only you can ring 0207 219 3356
